Armed Forces Community HQ provides suitable accommodation for ex-service personnel, and their families, in the form of a small number of single occupancy independent apartments and Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO). In the HMO (usually four to six people), tenants are provided a self-contained bedroom, with shared communal spaces (kitchen, living room, bathroom). In addition to the accommodation, the HQ assesses each individual to ensure they receive the correct level of support including finance, welfare, substance misuse, mental health and wellbeing. We aim to ensure all service users are able to live independently following our intervention and guidance.

We also work closely with the local authorities to support ex-service personnel and families in emergency situations by offering immediate availability in crisis rooms.

Additional services include supporting resettlement for serving and ex-service personnel, advocacy with the statutory bodies and local providers for any member of the Armed Forces community, general advice and information and finding suitable long-term accommodation.

If you would like further information or in need of support, please contact us via phone or email.
