Social Inclusion
Social Inclusion
Research has shown that members of the Armed Forces community are more vulnerable to loneliness and isolation, due to the unique challenges faced. Armed Forces Community HQ was founded to provide a safe space for all members to be able to connect with their peers, and be supported to live fulfilling lives. As well as a busy schedule of events and activities hosted at the HQ in Wigan, we follow the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’ and work with individuals to understand your needs and access relevant offers.
Events and Activities in Wigan
Molyneux House, Wigan, is open Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700. The NAAFI Cafe, our social enterprise cafe, runs every Monday and Friday, and volunteers are always on hand to welcome newcomers.
