Armed Forces Community HQ CIC is proud to announce that we have officially become a member of COBSEO, The Confederation of Service Charities, the UK’s leading membership organisation representing charities that support the Armed Forces community.
This marks an important milestone in our journey as we continue to grow our impact across the military charity sector. Membership of COBSEO places us alongside many of the country’s most respected military and veterans’ organisations, creating new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective action to improve the lives of serving personnel, veterans, reservists and their families.
Established over 90 years ago, COBSEO brings together hundreds of organisations from across the sector, providing a unified voice on issues affecting the Armed Forces community. Through collaboration, best practice and partnership working, its members help shape policy, improve services and ensure support reaches those who need it most.
For Armed Forces Community HQ, becoming a member represents far more than joining a network.
As an organisation proudly rooted in the North West of England, we are committed to ensuring that the experiences, challenges and successes of our region are represented within national conversations. We believe every part of the Armed Forces community deserves to have its voice heard, and we’re excited to bring our perspective and expertise to COBSEO’s growing membership.
Our inclusion also enables us to work more closely with fellow member organisations, identify opportunities for partnership, share innovative approaches to wellbeing and support, and contribute to the continued development of the sector.
As Armed Forces community HQ continues to expand its programmes and services, collaboration remains central to our mission. By working alongside other charities, statutory organisations and community partners, we can maximise our collective impact and deliver even greater support to those who have served, those currently serving, and their families.
